Cindy Wong

Dr. Cindy has been helping build families, one step at a time. As I celebrated my academic success, a new chapter unfolded as I embarked on my own personal journey to parenthood. Having my own personal struggle and loss, it has deepened my understanding of the unique challenges individuals faced when starting a family. It’s this personal journey that has fueled my desire to explore holistic avenues that complement modern medical practices, paving the way for a balanced and harmonious path to parenthood.

Dr. Cindy resides in Ridgewood, New York with her family. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Nutrition Sciences from SUNY-Buffalo. Dr. Cindy has enjoyed a career of 10+ years was in Corporate Wellness. Where she honed her skills as a personal trainer, group fitness (spin) instructor and General Manager for a Fortune 500 Companies.

When the market crashed in 2007-2008, she decided that this path was no longer the one for her. She still wanted to help people in a new way. She later completed her Masters and Doctorate at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine New York and San Diego. (Now, Pacific College of Health and Sciences). Dr. Cindy completed a clinical rotation at NYU Langone Labor and Delivery Department, NYU Langone Stroke and Rehabilitation Department and Columbia University’s Student Wellness Center.

Dr. Cindy is board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is a New York State Licensed Acupuncturist. She is the CEO and Clinical Director of Yin and Tonic Acupuncture where she primarily focuses on women’s health, IVF support, sports medicine injuries and stress management.

In her free time, she enjoys trying new cuisines and spending time with her husband, step-son, daughter and son.
